Sooooooooo, I'm obsessed with long hair. I think it's nice for taking cool artsy pictures and there's so many things to do with it. I'm really not adventurous enough to color my hair a million colors but now that I've seen this picture...I'm contemplating...

Ombre is SO hot right now. Basically, I'm obsessed...
Not to be confused with TYE-DYE, ombre is where the colors in something go dark to light.

Quick Fashion Tip

I just saw this in my school and thought I would alert you avoid this.

We can all agree that uggs are not the most fashionable footwear, but hey they keep your feet quite warm. We can also agree that leggings are not pants. When you wear them together, please make sure your leggings go into your boots. When they are too short to do so you look silly showing a little bit of shin skin.

Fringe Fringe Fringe

Fringe is ALL THE RAGE and I am IN LOVE.
I recently scored a leather fringe jacket at this cute little boutique where I live. Basically I'm pumped for fall just so I can wear it!! Pictures to come!

Regardless, fringe looks good on everything and something with fringe is a must have for your closet.

Lots of fun things in the month of September!

We can't believe it is already September! Wow, time flies fast. We thought that would would give you guys little update of the things we have planned for this month.

1. We are going to officially launch our youtube channel. So not only will you be able to read our blog to get fashion tips and learn about us, but you will now be able to view videos as well. Stay tuned for some awesome videos!

2. If you haven't seen yet we will be having Fenice Fashionistas. These fashionistas were selected from watching their youtube videos. We have 11 people who are trying to get one of the three spots. They will be helping us with our company and doing guest posts on here. Checkout the meet the contestants page to read up on them and then vote for your favorite in the right side bar. You can vote once a day!

3. Lots of new items! We're not sure when but you can be expecting more clothing, accesories, and some other fun things available in the store.

4. You might see a giveaway on this blog *hint hint*

5. Lots of fashion tips for getting ready for the cold winter months.

Fall 2011 Trend: Just a little bit of lace

Everyone knows lace is sexy, and if you don't, you should have more things to be concerned about then the trends of fall 2011. This year though, it's all about keeping lace classy, but not getting rid of the sex appeal. Also, you never want to do too much lace, that is a disaster. Lets look at some different ways you can try this trend.

The cardigan in this picture has just the right amount to be cute, yet still professional.



Try a dress like this with just some lace at the collar to give a plain dress an extra femine touch


Not a person who likes to wear lace? Put it on your nails. I'll have a tutorial coming up on how to do this


I am in love with lace shorts, and jealous of people who live somewhere wehre they can wear them all year long

I'm going to end with my favorite look of lace, which is anything with a lace-inset. I love the little bit of lace that makes it sexy, but not overdone.

Yesterday I went shopping and took a look in Nordstrom. I saw this dress and fell in love with it

How could you not love this dress? It is so simple yet the detailing on the top makes it one of a kind. I defiantly have lust for this dress, although I do not enjoy the price tag of over $1,000.  It just means I'll have to get rich.

Back to School: One nail different is a must for 2011

When I first saw this look I thought somebody was painting their fingers in the dark. Now as I have seen it more and more though it has grown on me. Although it must be done right. I'm not sure how it was started, but the idea of painting only one nail a different color then the rest has been sweeping the stars. I have also heard it called the rebellious nail and I am really enjoying the name. How I would suggest you do it is paint the rest of your nails a muted color and the different one a metallic one. Another option would to do all the nails black and one a bright color like Ashley Benson below, this would be much more of a statement. Make sure the colors compliment each other, like don't put yellow and green together unless you are one big packers fan. Here are some of the ways others have done it to inspire you.

Back to School: Your Beauty and Fashion Guide for Fall

We're now two weeks into August, and school is coming up fast! Not only does that mean new schedules and finishing up summer reading, but it also means back-to-school shopping. So in honor of back to school we will be posting shopping guides talking all about trends for fall and basics for school. These will cover everything from back to school staples to nail polish and just for fun stuff. You can expect one or two of these each week for the next few weeks. Don't worry if you don't read them all in time for school, because they will also cover the basics and trends for Fall. So you can stay cute and warm!

The Number One Fashion DONT

We've ALL seen it. That one girl who walks around looking like a man with flip flops, baggy shorts, a cutoff tshirt cut all the way down the sides, and to top this oh so fashionable look off? A bright, neon sports bra. Ladies...this is NOT a cute look. Even when worn with your cutest pair of butt-hugging jeans this ensemble is still a no go. Plain and simple this is TRASHY.

We asked our panel of Fenice Men what they thought about this look and nine out of ten agreed. One even went so far as to mention, "You wouldn't wear your bra in public...just because it has 'sport' before it doesn't matter. Bra is still in the name."

*We would also like to mention that the one guy who said "yeah, go for it!" dresses the male equivalent of this look. In fact when we gathered the guys to ask them about this he walked in the door wearing mid calf tyedye socks, ratty tennies, basketball shorts, and...you guessed it...a FRESHLY cut shirt. Right down the sides.

(Maybe we'll do a makeover and write a post about it ;] OOO spoiler alert)

Now we understand there are exceptions. Perhaps bedtime or maybe a workout? But we draw the line there. This look will NEVER be cute.

However if you're really itching to try this look why don't you go for a sexier approach? A black bra under a slightly see through shirt is mysterious and a bandeau under a vneck is very cute.

Oh and by the way? No cheating. Unless you're going for a swim don't you dare wear your swimsuit top under your shirt to school. Just as trashy ladies. Not to mention neon sports bras under a burnout shirt. (Our other pet peeve.)
