Staying trendy and Staying ahead of the curve in 2012

Trends, Fads, being chic or fashionable, it really doesnt matter how you spin it, we all want in.
Though this past year has had a bunch of different trends that we've all fell in love with we highly recommend ditching the following if you want to stay in the now:

Owls: Just....no

Elephants: So cute, but so overdone.

Peacocks (which im kind of sad about because im OBSESSED with peacocks):

Feathers.....EVERYWHERE: Now that everyone has them they just arent cool anymore, though if you can find a new and original way to incorporate them into your ensemble more power to you because I LOVE this trend and am going to be sad to see it go. The only thing im not going to be sad to see go is semiperm feathers in your hair, move on to clip in, just do it.

Ripped Denim: Dont you dare try to tel me this picture is sexy
Neon: Here and gone and personally i wont be sad to see this one go...(ps what up with these shoes???)

Unfortunately...i have to admit in the past year i have proudly participated in all of these trends. However for the new year heres a few things everyone needs:

Corduroy: Get yourself some corduroy or dig it out of the back of your closet:

Dream Catchers: They're beautiful and maybe if you have one you can keep away bad thoughts even during the day :]

Crop Tops:  LOVE THEM!!

Out with the old and in with the new!
Have a happy new year and share these ideas and our blog with your friends

Hey Hey Hey Ombre

Ombre is SO hot right now. Basically, I'm obsessed...
Not to be confused with TYE-DYE, ombre is where the colors in something go dark to light.
Here's a few of my personal FAVES:

LOVE THESE (No its not too early to start looking for prom ;] )
DIY on how to do this to your shorts to come!

Saw this on The Style Network Yesterday, Obviously I'm ahead of the curve ;]

And my personal fave. I want to do this to my hair SO bad.

Comment! I'd love to know your favorite ombre trends!

Back to School: One nail different is a must for 2011

When I first saw this look I thought somebody was painting their fingers in the dark. Now as I have seen it more and more though it has grown on me. Although it must be done right. I'm not sure how it was started, but the idea of painting only one nail a different color then the rest has been sweeping the stars. I have also heard it called the rebellious nail and I am really enjoying the name. How I would suggest you do it is paint the rest of your nails a muted color and the different one a metallic one. Another option would to do all the nails black and one a bright color like Ashley Benson below, this would be much more of a statement. Make sure the colors compliment each other, like don't put yellow and green together unless you are one big packers fan. Here are some of the ways others have done it to inspire you.

Welcome to the Jungle: tribal and jungle trends

Hi guys! So lately we've been noticing a lot of tribal and jungle-like trends. In response to that, several of our items are tribal or jungle themed. Right now only a couple of them are up on the website, but we're working on a lot more! Here's what we've got so far!

Here's one of my personal favorites..

The Sydney Giraffe Shirt               I love the print and the slouchy fit of this one. It's an easy way to kee up with the trends with little effort. Just throw it on and it's a statement piece!

The Vanessa Maxi-skirt
Another item for sale is a black and white tribal maxi-skirt. Maxi-skirts are huge for the summer and this is the perfect breezy pick for a hot summer day.

Mitchel also made a really cool tribal print shirt the other day. This one's not for sale because it's her favorite, but we'll have lots of new products similar to it!
I'm loving the tribal trend for this summer, and we're all excited to show you some more tribal products as soon as they're done!

See ya later,
